The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.0
EZ-Screenshot, developed by Vapisoft, is a shareware application oriented to make it easy to capture images from your desktop and share them with family and friends. With an extremely intuitive interface and an icon located at your system tray, it provides several characteristics not included in the basic “print screen” feature of your operative system, all of them fully functional within a few clicks of your mouse. Once the application is loaded, you have two ways to capture an image from your desktop: using a hot-key (by default Ctrl-P) or clicking on the system tray icon of the application. When you do either of those two things the main window of EZ-Screenshot pops up, showing a preview of the just captured picture. It also shows several buttons to take different actions regarding the picture. Even when there's a free trial available, the registration is mandatory and it’s done the first time you run EZ-Screenshot on your computer. Regarding license types, there are several options to choose from. There's a 1-year license for $ 10; a perpetual license for $ 15; a 1-year server license for $ 100; and a server perpetual license for $ 150. |
- There's a free trial available.
- It works as a resident application in your system tray which makes it very convenient.
- It provides quick options to send your captures by e-mail or messenger.
|
- It doesn't provide any editing tools.
- It's available in English only.
- The "capture whole dialog" feature doesn't work well in certain windows such as Microsoft Office 2007.
